FAV is the neutral network manager in the field of integrated transport system technology for companies and research institutes in the German capitol region Berlin-Brandenburg. FAV manages a regional network of about 60 companies and 60 research institutes and an international network of 69 rail research institutions within the EURNEX and over 20 other excellent research partners worldwide within its strategic alliance network.

• Network and innovation management, intermodal transport and system aspects, life cycle cost process, human factor engineering, security in transport systems, scenario analysis & operations research,
• Strategy consultancy and political engineering, end user acceptability of new technologies, organisation of consensus building processes, preparation and organisation of international conferences,
